Lucy & Dave’s Wedding at Sweeney Hall

As soon as I spoke to Lucy, I knew I’d love photographing her wedding day, as she connected to my philosophy and wasn’t concerned with waiting for the typical wedding photos that everyone else repeats. When the day finally arrived, despite our best wishes, it did rain for almost the entire day – which is no exaggeration.

But this in no way damped our spirits, and is an awesome testament to the people making the occasion. 

People often ask me ‘What to do if it rains at my wedding?‘ and the simple answer is to kick back, and have a fantastic day. The weather, well, it really doesn’t matter when you’re surrounded by the people you love.
