Don’t get me wrong, I think being able to share files from your day is great. That’s why I have this website, this blog after all. It allows people to connect through memories, across oceans, across continents – I’m very grateful we can do this! But what happens after the first week, month, year? They can be lost on facebook within a few hours, caught in the mayhem, competing with the all the cats and what-not… Is this really the best way to experience your one-of-a-kind collection? Or is it simply good enough?
You deserve more than good enough. A real album will last a lifetime, and more. It allows you to instantly view the full story of the day, in a beautiful, hand crafted finish. Yes, they are expensive, and for a good reason. Printed at a professional lab, with archival quality paper, assembled by hand these won’t fade, curl, or bleed. It’ll last a lifetime, and more. A wedding is far more than two people getting married, it’s about relationships, family, emotions, interactions… to show each story as personal as this, you need to collect images together into an album. This is where they’re at their best, and will only grow with value over time.
